Fed: Wooldridge launches rural health education network

CANBERRA, Feb 6 AAP - Nine new rural medical training schools would help to redress
the historical imbalance between rural and city health, Federal Health Minister Michael
Wooldridge said today.

Dr Wooldridge today announced the location of the nine new rural clinical schools and
two new University Departments of Rural Health.

"They will play a key role in providing a stimulus in rural health care and in redressing
the historical imbalance between rural and city health," he said in a statement.
