Fed: Thousands turn out for dawn service at war memorial

The dawn service in Canberra has been told the Anzac tradition stands for reckless
valour in a good cause .. and that maintaining the tradition isn't just a responsibility
for government or serving soldiers.

Salvation Army Major RODNEY AINSWORTH presented the address to about 20-thousand people
in front of the Australian War Memorial.

The Canberra service continues to attract a growing crowd .. including many young people.
